Government accounting – These accountants also known as government accountants are employed in the public sector.  Therefore they work for the local government, the state or federal.  Basically they will be required to examine and maintain government agencies record, audit companies that are required to operate by government regulations, along with audit individuals and deal with taxation.
  4. Management accounting – These accountants are employed to private companies.  Their main responsibilities involve cost management, budgeting, asset management and performance evaluation.
